Drone survey

  1. Data Collection: Drones fly over a site, using high-resolution cameras, LiDAR, or multispectral sensors to capture detailed images and data from various vantage points.
  2. Photogrammetry: The captured images are processed using specialized software, which uses photogrammetry principles to create detailed 3D digital terrain models.
  3. Data Processing: The data is then processed on the ground to produce accurate maps, 3D models, and other relevant information.
  4. GCPs and RTK: Ground Control Points (GCPs) can be used for increased precision, while Real-time Kinematic (RTK) technology provides real-time, centimeter-level accuracy in geo-tagging images, reducing the need for many GCPs.
